Description:
Referencing a local legend this work is designed not to interrupt the sea view, but creates an interactive environment for young and old.
Each of the 15 stones can be rotated and each has a different ‘wave length’ line embedded in its circumference.
In plan the womb-like horse shoe shape contains a ‘wave seed’ form and many crosses of stainless steel set into cobbles.
The white and yellow cobbles may suggest waves breaking on a beach.
