Photograms & Prints Statement

(Essay by Caoimhín Mac Giolla Léith)

Each river and each night has its many moods. Photography in ‘Natures Great Darkroom’,
Without a camera, is a collaboration between all the senses.
Choosing the moment to capture the ever-changing flux of patterns from a flowing Stream is not easy. The whole process is as much up to intuition and chance, as it is to any exactitude. Stars overhead, and wellys on feet, listening to the water. No camera, just photosensitivity and repetition
